Home Spa Pedicure Directions

Fill your water basin with warm water adding 1 tablespoon of Epsom salt and bubble bath or body wash. While waiting for the water to fill up, lay out all your pedicure tools in an easy to reach spot.

1. Remove toe nail polish if you have any on.

2. Soak feet in water for 5-10 minutes. Read a magazine or listen to some soothing music while you soak

3. Remove your right foot from the water and pat toes dry with a towel. Clip toenails as needed to your desired length. Try to cut them in a square shape instead of a rounded shape which can cause ingrown toenails.

4. File toe nails with nail file to create smooth edges.

5. Push back cuticles with a cuticle stick.

6. Apply body oil to cuticle area and return your foot to the water.

7. Repeat steps 3-6 on your left foot.

8. Going back to your right foot, remove it from the water again and lather it with soap or body wash. Starting with the rough metal edge of your 4 in-1 pedicure tool, rub it along the sole of your foot concentrating on any rough or dry areas especially near heals and large toe.

9. Repeat step 8 with the pumice stone side of the 4-in-1 tool, and then again with the file side of the pedicure tool. When you are finished, your feet should feel nice and smooth.

10. Use the scrub brush side of the 4-in-1 pedicure tool and some soap or body wash to give your foot a final cleansing scrubbing in between the toes. Dry your foot off with a clean towel. Do not return it to the water.

11. Repeat steps 8-10 on your left foot.

12. Generously apply foot lotion to both feet and give yourself a nice foot massage working the lotion into your feet, especially heals where skin tends to dry and crack.

13. If you don’t want to paint your toenails, you’re pedicure is complete!

If you would like to add some polish to your toes, follow these last few steps:

1. Swipe some rubbing alcohol over your toenails to remove any lotion and oil left behind from the pedicure so the nail polish can adhere well to the nail bed.

2. Place toes between toe separator. If you don’t have a separator tool, you can wind a piece of toilet paper or paper towel in between your toes.

3. Apply two coats of your polish color to toe nails. Allow to dry for 3-5 minutes.

4. Apply one layer of top coat to your toe nails and allow to dry thoroughly. To test if polish is dry, gently tap the back of a cuticle stick against the polish. If it sticks, allow more drying time.

5. Use a Q-tip and some nail polish remover to remove any polish that got on your skin during painting. Your spa pedicure is complete!

If you still have some rough patches on your heels or other parts of your foot after your pedicure, use the 4-in-1 tool in the shower once a week in between pedicures. You can also slather affected areas with Vaseline and put on a pair of socks before you got to bed at night. When you wake up you’ll find a noticeable difference.

With your spa pedicure at home complete, put on your favorite sandals and show off your pretty toes.
